Used, The Jaguar XK150 was produced between 1957 and 1961 and was the successor of the XK140. The car was initially only available in a fixed head coupe or a drophead coupe. The Roadster was launced in 1958 and had minimal weather equipment. The XK150 resembled its predecessors the XK120 and the XK150 but was radically revised. The XK150 had a one piece windscreen. The windscreen was also moved 102 mm forward that made passenger access easier. The car had wind-up windows for the first time but retained the simple fold up roof of its predecessors. The walnut dash of the XK140 was replaced with a leather one. Suspension similar to that of the XK140. Disc brakes replaced the drum brakes on the previous car. The 3,4 L twin overhead cam 6-cylinder engine was retained but power was raised to 180hp. In 1960 the 3,4 L engine was replaced with the 220 hp. 164 kW 3,8 L engine. This gave the XK150 a top speed of 216 km/h and a zero to 100km/h of 7 seconds! This particular car is a 1960 Drop head Coupe with 85900 kms on. It is finished in Cotswold Blue with red interior. The Jaquar XK 150 is powered by a 3.4 litre DOHC engine which is capable of 142 kW @ 5500 RPM. Initially the XK150 was only available in (this) fixed head coupé (FHC) and drop head coupé (DHC) versions. The roadster version (XK150 OTS - open two-seater) without full weather equipment was launched in 1958.
