Used, We are very pleased to present a stunning Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V spec. The GTR name was used by Nissan for their top of the range performance cars. The R34’s predecessors, specifically the R32, were very popular cars for racing and very successful in many parts of the world. The R34 skylines were produced between 1999 and 2002. The V spec cars were slightly stiffer more focused versions of the regular GTR. The cars featured extra splitters as well as an active limited slip diff as opposed to the conventional mechanical one. These cars also feature four-wheel drive as well as four-wheel steering which, in our opinion, is way ahead of its time. Nissan claimed that the 2.6 litre twin turbo engine made 206 kw but it actually turned out that they made more like 246 kw! 0-100 is achieved in 5.2 seconds and goes on to a top speed of around 250 km/h. This specific car is a 1999 V spec model. The car is completely standard with the exception of the wheels, exhaust and air intakes. The car is in beautiful condition and has been well loved for all of its 104 000 km. The Bayside Blue metallic paint truly comes alive under the South African sunshine. This car was brought in from Japan a few years ago and is registered in South Africa.
