Used, The 356 was the first production car for Porsche. It was a rear-engine, rear wheel drive sports car that was very light and had unmatched handling characteristics. The car was available as a two door coupe and also as an open top. Porsche engineers continued to improve the car in the years of production. This increased the cars popularity and also contributed to its success on the racetrack. Production started in 1948 and the first 50 cars were produced in Gmund, Austria. The factory relocated to Zuffenhausen in 1950 and production of the 356 continued until April cars were produced of which approximately half have survived. This specific car is a 1960 B Coupe. Car has been redone in its original colour scheme white with cream interior. All bright work is excellent, paintwork is superb and interior is correctly restored.
