Used, In 1984 Porsche replaced the 3.0 L 911SC with the 3.2 L Carrera, using the Carrera name for the first time since 1977. A higher displacement motor was used in the new car. The volume was achieved with the same bore size as in the 3.0 L engine, namely 95 mm but with 74.4 mm stroke and combined with the camshafts from the 1978 3.3 L Turbo. Higher domed pistons increased the compression ratio and a new inlet manifold and exhaust system were fitted. The 915 gearbox from the 911 SC was retained for the first models and was only changed to the G50 gearbox in 1987.Engine power was now up to 172 kW or 231 hp. Zero to 100 km/h took 5.4 seconds and the top speed was 240km/h. This specific car is a 1988 Carrera Cabriolet with only 139667 kms on from new and a full service history with the Agents and Porsche Specialists. It features the Getrag G50 gearbox. The car has never been restored, completely original and absolutely stunning! It is finished in Dark blue with blue interior with all books, spare keys, tools, spare wheel and compressor available.
