Used, The 993 RS is a lightweight version of the standard Carrera. The car could be distinguished by a large rear fixed wing, a different front bumper with a wraparound front spoiler as well as air intakes next to the indicator lights. The car was fitted with 18 inch 3 piece rims. Headlight washers was deleted for weight saving purposes. On the interior the rear seat were taken out and sound proofing was reduced to the minimum. The car had special race seats with very basic door panels. The door handles were replaced by pull straps. The RS Clubsport was a track orientated version of the standard RS with limited road usability. The car came with a welded in roll cage, carbon fiber racing bucket seats, seat belt harnesses, a fire extinguisher and a battery kill switch. In an effort to reduce weight the car had no carpeting or sound proofing. The radio, air conditioner and power windows were also deleted. The same 3.8L engine was used as in the normal RS, producing 221kW or 296hp. This was the last air cooled 911 RS Porsche produced. Only 19 of the 993 RS cars were imported by the Agents between 1995 and 1996, of which only two were Clubsport versions. This specific car is finished in Riviera Blue the car has done only 52000kms from new with a full service history. The car has undergone extensive restoration recently and is perfect.
