Bentley has already launched its Continental GT V8 at the NAIAS in Detroit in 2012 and now with the added “S” Bentley on the way to launch its Continental GT V8 S to the world at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The version will be available in both convertible and the coupe version, with few engine upgrades like a small hike of 21 PS and 20 NM giving the output of 521 PS at 6,000 rpm and 680 NM at 1,700 rpm.

Except the engine upgrades, this version will be seen with an increased 45 percent stiffer suspension. The glossy black front grille and the 20 inch alloy wheels apart from the S badging makes the car unique in itself.

The GT V8 S coupe rushes at the speed of 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 sec with the top speed of 192 mph. While the convertible model delivers the speed of 60 mph in 4.5 sec and the top speed of 191 mph. With an eight speed ZF transmission, the drive is distributed in all the four wheels. Selecting the gearboxes Sport model stokes the throttle response and holds the gear for longer period of time.

Distribution of both the Convertible and Coupe Bentley Continental V8 S is expected to initiate in early 2014 across the international markets. However the pricing is not officially declared but is expected likely to be around £140,000 for the coupe and for the convertible it would be £10,000-15,000 and more.
