BMW has officially revealed its ‘Aurum Dust’ painted M4 Coupe Concept sport car. Aurum means “gold” in Latin. The Concept M4 previews amongst the most exciting new cars of next year. Live pictures of this BMW M4 were published on August 15, 2013 at a press conference in Pebble Beach, California.
The distinctive highlights of this M4 are the black kidney grille bars, twin round headlamps with LED technology. This model is designed with an integrated trunk lid spoiler and unique 20-inch M light alloy wheels with a two-tone finish. BMW has used carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) to concentrate on weight savings. The roof, front splitter and rear diffuser of this M4 are made from CFRP. This brings the M4 coupe to the scales at around 1500 kg.
There’s no any official announcement for specification or performance but it seems that, currently BMW prefers to focus on design. The M4 is expected for a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six engine car that produces approximately 335 kW of power and 550 N.m of torque. M4 can be accelerated from 0 to 100 camps around 4.5 seconds and top speed should be limited to 250 comp.
The Two door M4 model is likely to go on sale probably in the second half of 2014. BMW has also released official teaser video of the new M4.
