The Japanese automaker, Nissan renovated its Datsun brand after a long period of 37 years, and India became the host of the global return of the affordable car manufacturers. Datsun had launched its Go hatchback in India on July 15, 2013, and received a positive response from the auto experts. Before few days Nissan also unveiled its second Datsun output, Go+MPV at the 2013 Indonesia Motor Show.

This renovation purely states the company’s approach for the growing nations like India, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa. We can also expect a couple of products from Datsun, which can be a compact sedan and a compact SUV to complete the group and it will specifically target the young buyers. The main centre for the production will be the Indian auto industry and Nissan will export these vehicles to other three nations.

The car makers from all around the world are making India an export hub, and the mostly preferred destination is South Africa from all. The same scenario is seen in the case of Datsun. Datsun will launch its made-in-India Go hatchback in South Africa. The company is also planning to export made-in-India cars  to other countries also.

Nissan will launch the Datsun Go and unveil the Go+MPV at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The new hatchback will be powered by the same 1.2- litre petrol engine as served in Micra, which will coordinate with five speed manual transmission. Moreover a new facility of Mobile Docking System will also be provided which will connect smartphones to the vehicles.
