Lambo's new 448kW Hot Huracan

Lambo wrapps off the cover from its all new Huracan LP 610-4 which is going to replace its Gallardo. The model will make its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motorshow where it will publically show its  awesome performance, easy to drive road behaviour and most attractive luxurious finish with sporty looks.


Like other Lamborghini models this model name is also inspired from the world of bull-fighting. Lamborghini has paid special attention towards the 12.3 inch full-colour TFT instrument panel which delivers all the necessary info. to the driver and also includes rev counter, navigation and interiors with with various colour combinations of fine Nappa leather and  Alcantara. Lamborghini is much proud for this interior panel.    

 

 


Looking at some of the specifications of this newest Lambo, you will find it 1422kg in weight which is comparatively lighter as it uses carbon fibres and new hybrid chassis which forms an integrated structure of carbon and aluminium elements.  


The unique ceramic brakes are primarily available while a variable steering ratio system and magneto rheologic suspension damper control are available with an option to choose one from them.  

 

 


Having a new 5.2 litre V10 engine, Huracan delivers a power of 448kW at 8250rpm and 560Nm at 6500rpm. It will attend a top speed of 325km/h while the sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.2sec while 0 to 200km/h takes 9.9sec. The new engine will also feature start/stop system due to which the fuel consumption drops to 12.5 litres/ 100km. The seven speed dual clutch transmission and electronically controlled four wheel drive system delivers power to the road.


Different driving modes can be selected via a driving dynamic selector switch adding an extra performance on race track with three setup available - STRADA, SPORT, CORSA. These different modes also affects the few systems such as gearbox and engine, the sound system, the four wheel drive system and the electronic stability control.

 

 


The car will be built at the Lamborghini headquarters in SantAgata Bolognese and will be seen on roads after March 2014.
