General Motors South Africa(GMSA) confirmed that the Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition will be available in limited volumes in South African auto market this October. As part of an international limited-edition production run, the Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring is among the most exclusive Opels ever built. And as far as the Corsa is concerned, this specific OPC is the hottest ever.
The turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine has been improved to generate 154 kW at 5850 r/min and 250 Nm of torque, and on overboost up to 280 Nm of torque. The Co2 emissions are 178g/km. The Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition can be sped up using ‘go fast’ kit from 0 to 100 km/h within 6.8 seconds. Top speed of the Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition is 230 km/h.
The OPC models acquire great tuning of chassis, performance as well as handling dynamics. The OPC Nurburgring Edition is identified from the basic Corsa OPC by a front lip spoiler, the new rear roof-mounted spoiler, dual exhaust pipes, dark-painted 18-inch alloy wheels and Brembo disc brakes.
