Petrol Prices again to shoot up to record level

Prepare yourself for another petrol increase just from coming Wednesday, 7 August. And this time also it is going to drop the record levels. Car owners brace yourself for the  impulsive petrol hike. This may create a great impact on the market sales in the car industry. Deflating Rand value and increasing oil price are the major contributing factors to the unexpected increase.

 
Petrol prices to shock the people as it will hike by 32 cents a litre from wednesday in the next week. It is the highest ever increase recorded. From next week the petrol price will be priced at an amount of R13.23 a litre in Gauteng and R12.86 in the coastal areas. While diesel will be priced by an increase of 32.96 cents a litre from the same day.

Not only petrol and diesel but the price of LPG is also on the way of increase by 22 cents/Kg from the same day. However the national retail price of paraffin will increase by 34 cents/litre. The department of Energy SA, is referencing this increase to the higher international oil prices.


Not only the forthcoming increase but, the hike was also noticed in the month of July by 84 cents a litre. It was also one of the biggest price increase ever seen by South Africans. Looking at the global fuel prices, not only South Africa but also Europe, America and Turkey are also passing from this same scenario of unexpected price increase.
