Volvo's Concept Coupe teased for Frankfurt Motor Show

Volvo ahead to globally debut its Concept Coupe in the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show next month. Thomas Ingenlath- the Vice President says “the design will highly affect all of their new models, of which the leading one is XC90, whose arrival is scheduled for the next year.

Volvo reveals the beauty with smooth design and polished opting with fine grooves and slim lines. The new design features includes T-shaped daytime lightning within the car headlights and C-shaped tail lamps on the rear. This new concept is the known to be the next P1800- the first successful sports car from Volvo manufactured in 1960’s.



 

The luxurious interiors of the beauty includes a unique handcrafted crystal gearshift lever along with a large touchscreen infotainment system. Minimised use of buttons and knobs increases the smoothness of the car.

 



 

Features like dash to axle is one of the attracting feature of this new concept. Volvo is intended to implement the design feature in all its future models with its new Scalable Product Architecture.


According to Volvo it is the first of the three concept cars that will reveal its future design direction at the Frankfurt Show next month, the next concept will be revealed at Detroit Show in January 2014, and the third concept at the Geneva in March 2014.
